Commercial Debt Recovery

Tailored to effectively meet the Clients needs

As a company, we will manage both your rent collections and rent arrears whether it is residential or commercial or whether you are a private landlord, letting agent or housing association. We will tailor make your event path to your specific criteria to ensure a fast and effective result.

Credit Check and Credit Referencing

If the individual has given their permission, we will facilitate all your requirements for credit checking individuals upon request. Once you subscribe to our credit control software, credit checks can be assessed instantly to examine the company credit score, cited credit limit, director details and registered addresses. In many cases, we are also requested to carry out credit referencing on behalf of the landlord where we will contact cited referees and gather all relevant documentation to ensure due diligence is performed correctly.

Credit Control

We support some clients from the initial application for tenancy and the inception of the tenancy agreement or lease. Other clients simply request that we collect rents owed on the relevant due dates while others simply instruct once a tenant is in arrears. Whatever your budget, we can reduce office costs by offering a competitively priced service that is efficient and concise. Our clients are able to view all activity via our online credit control system in order to monitor all progress.

Door Step Collection

We are able to collect rent in a number of ways:
  • Directly via standing order into our client’s deposit account
  • Deploying rent collectors on due dates to collect rent directly from the tenants
  • Depositing third party cheque as a result of direct payment into our cheque cashing account and forwarding it to the relevant client deposit account.
The third party cheque service is particularly useful for vulnerable tenants. There is a more in depth description of this service below.

Pre Legal Debt Recovery

In the event that a rent account goes into arrears, we will deploy operatives to the tenancy address in order to request monies for the outstanding account. All such visits are recorded in order to ensure that our client integrity isn’t compromised and that our company respectable reputation is upheld. Any visits to vulnerable tenants will be risk assessed in the first instance with a trading standards officer in order to ensure that all interested parties are duly informed and satisfied with our approach for recovery.

Legal Recovery

If our request for payment is rebuffed, we will issue notice, such as Section 8 notice and Section 21, in order to begin the legal process for recovery.  A court order, once issued, will then be transferred to the high court for subsequent enforcement.

Tenant Evictions

Once the correct procedures have been implemented and undertaken, tenant evictions can be facilitated upon request whether it is commercial or residential. Ultimately, we aim to provide a seamless solution for all your rent collection requirements.

Cheque Cashing

Our Cheque Cashing facility is an easy way to turn your third party cheques into cash. It is ideal for those who do not have a bank account or landlords wishing to cash tenants rents cheques from the council. It is not essential that you have a bank account as this service still enables you to apply for the job. It is difficult to find a bank that will be willing to cash a third party cheque and so, by applying for this service with our company, you will be able to present any pay checks to us to be cashed in. This is very ideal service for landlords.
